Salamanca Fresh’s Bellerive store has undergone a total rebuild in the same convenient location!

The Behrakis family opened their first Salamanca Fresh store (the Salamanca Fruit Market in Salamanca Place) in 1981. The Bellerive store was opened in the mid-1980s and has remained an institution for two generations of local Eastern shore families. We have been very proud to partner with JMK Construction Group, BPSM Architects and many Tasmanian sub-contractors in developing the new Bellerive store. We are also pleased to have increased local employment, with around double the staff than our previous premises.

The store now boasts a larger space with ample, very easy and convenient parking, improved pedestrian access and an even wider range of fresh and local produce, the signature specialty of the Behrakis family for many years.

Other updates include:

• A purpose-built bakery on site, where Thomas of The Brezel Bakerei now operates, baking his signature breads and pastries daily, for Salamanca Fresh stores,
• Freshly squeezed juice machine, for daily squeezed juice,
• A pizzeria opening on site very soon,
• Ample room for customers to move within the store and between the aisles, creating a relaxed and welcoming shopping experience.

When visiting our Bellerive store, our customers will be able to browse the aisles for all their favourite fresh produce, local groceries, fresh meat and seafood and delicious delicatessen. Our grocery range has expanded, as have our grab & go meal and drink options.

All our stores are open 7 days a week and we look forward to welcoming you into our store and we hope you enjoy this fantastic new shopping experience.
